30, 33 or 36 Inch Copper Farmhouse Sink: A Size Comparison
A 30, 33 or 36 inch copper farmhouse sink can look similar in a photograph. The difference is easier to judge when you compare the listed dimensions with the space inside your cabinet and the worktop beside it. Choose the size around the installation and the way you use your kitchen.
Compare the listed sizes
COPRIVA’s Curved Farmhouse Hand-Hammered Copper Kitchen Sink lists the following three size options. The millimetre values below are direct conversions of those labels, rounded to the nearest millimetre. They are not installation tolerances, cut-out dimensions or minimum cabinet sizes.
| Size label in inches | Converted dimensions in millimetres | Width compared with 30 inches |
|---|---|---|
| 30 × 22 × 10 | 762 × 559 × 254 | Starting comparison |
| 33 × 22 × 10 | 838 × 559 × 254 | About 76 mm wider |
| 36 × 22 × 10 | 914 × 559 × 254 | About 152 mm wider |
When to compare the 30 inch option
Start with the smaller option when the sink area has limited width or when preserving nearby preparation space matters. Make a full-size paper outline of the listed footprint on your worktop plan. This helps you see where the sink sits beside a dishwasher, corner, wall or preparation area. It does not replace a fitting template.
What changes at 33 inches?
The 33 inch option adds three inches of listed width while retaining the same listed front-to-back and height dimensions in this model. Compare the usable internal bowl dimensions before deciding that it will fit a particular tray or roasting pan. Exterior width alone cannot confirm the size of the washing area.
What to check before choosing 36 inches
The widest option makes the sink a larger part of the cabinet run. Check how much preparation space remains on either side and where the drain and supply pipes will sit below it. Ask your cabinet supplier to confirm support, apron-front clearance, door positions and access for plumbing. Do not assume a 36 inch sink fits a cabinet also described as 36 inches.
Use a project checklist before ordering
- Record the internal cabinet width and usable depth, including braces and obstructions.
- Confirm the exact size and finish variant you intend to order.
- Request internal bowl measurements, the cut-out information and any required support details.
- Check drain position and waste-fitting compatibility with your installer.
- Match faucet reach and handle clearance to the chosen bowl and mounting position.
- Agree the installation details before the cabinet or countertop is cut.
For a replacement sink, send photographs of the existing cabinet and opening along with your measurements. Handcrafted surface variation is separate from the dimensional information needed to fit the sink.
